Realmente, no me gusta la lluvia 🌧️

Hola a todos!!!!! 

I hope all of you are enjoying this lovely fall weather. It has started to rain a lot up here and I am not a fan of that because I am definitely solar powered. So I've been wearing all my warm weather clothes and it hasn't even dropped below 45 degrees yet so rip to that! 

But we've been doing lots of fun fall activities with the members recently! We got to go over and learn how to make donuts with the Spanish branch so that was really fun. And then the Shaws had us all over as a district on Saturday and we carved pumpkins and had some really good Chili and all of that! My pumpkin compared to Hna Barrow's looks like the scary uncle that would put a spider in your drink if you're not looking. 

But also we had an amazing Facebook milagro yesterday!!!!!! His name is Mario and he messaged Hna Barrow literally asking to learn more about the Savior! And so we called him yesterday and had a great phone call lesson about the Atonement and HE BROUGHT UP BAPTISM ON HIS OWN! And he is really good friends with some Spanish Branch members and asked if he could take the lessons in her home and we called them and they said yes!!!! We can start on Wednesday!!!! So we are so incredibly excited!!

But I hope all of you have a super fun Halloween and are staying safe during this fall weather! Someone better watch Hocus Pocus for me because that is my favorite Halloween movie ever and I am so sad to miss out on that so someone just make sure to enjoy it for me 

But I love you all! Stay warm! (except for Arizona friends. Don't warm up because that would be bad)

It's Finally Happening

 

Hola a todos! 

So this has been a week. It's been a very hard week filled with all sorts of challenges. Our friends Jesús and Victoria decided literally 24 hours before their baptism that they were fine without the church, in spite of the incredible miracles they've seen with work and their car and literally everything since talking with us. And they've just simply decided not to have all the blessings for some reason. So that's wild and I don't understand that decision but it's okay. 

So we've been really sad about that because it honestly broke all of our hearts to see them make that decision and essentially break up with us. Like goodness, not a good feeling. But there are so many cool people that are progressing in our area that there are more that are ready and willing to make these promises with Heavenly Father. 

Also, it's finally happening!!!! I am getting transferred after 7 months in the ghetto of SP4. I am going to head to Basin City! Which is as I understand it, like 45 minutes north of the tri-cities and is like waaaaaaaay out in the boonies. So that is going to be completely different and that's gonna be so fun! 

A miracle that we saw this week is that our friend Alfredo came to church yesterday and that was amazing!!!!! I've been teaching him for a couple of months now and he's always been a slowly progresses and just making baby steps but he finally took the leap and came to church for the very first time yesterday!!!!! And it was so very exciting for me to see. And then our ward mission leader was coming in clutch and like was so sweet and kind, showing Alfredo around and helping him know what was going on. It was such a tender miracle. 

But otherwise that's pretty much everything that's happening! Next time I email all of you, I'll be emailing from the boonies way up north so brace yourselves, it could be a wild ride.
