Flowers Lived!

 Hola a todos!

I hope this week has been a good week for everyone! We've had a little bit of a crazy time but all is well! I honestly cannot believe we are halfway through this transfer! That's so insane, espcially since my comp goes home in a few weeks.

This week the weather thankfully warmed back up again and we saw blue skies a few days in a row and that was so nice. The flowers thankfully survived the sudden frost and so everything is absolutley beautiful. There's a cute park in the middle of Walla that we drive by with huge towering trees and now they all are getting leaves and flowers which is amazing!!!!!

Something cool that happened this week is that we starting teaching a new family! And the grandpa, Osiel is super interested in the book of mormon which is so cool to see. He says that all of it makes sense. And they are hopefully gonna come to church next sunday which is super exciting!

This week we have lots and lots of meetings coming up so that'll be wild. And this whole area is getting ready for Elder Soares to come this weekend. We get to have a cool meeting with him and the other general authorities and Friday and then we're gonna have a mission party! It won't be anything like the one last year but it'll be super fun. And then all of the stakes are getting together at the Toyota Center for a multi stake conference on sunday. So that'll be way neat! Rip our miles though, driving to kennewick and back is a bit of a drive, like 1 hour just one way jaja.

But we're just enjoying life up here in Washington!
Espero que tengan una buena semana! Hasta Luego!

-Eating at Reina's house, she made us some good mole. She's such a fiesty woman, I love her. Every time I try to give her a compliment she goes, "no me digas" or "Ay, muchacha" and I don't know what I did do deserve that every time.

Winter Strikes Back

 Hola a todos!

This week has been a crazy week! First off, happy Easter to everyone! I hope everyone had a good holiday. As always, Sundays are my craziest day as a missionary but our Easter was very nice nonetheless. Now for the title of this week's email, IT SNOWED! Several times!!!!! I was so confused because it literally is the middle of april but snow came down and stuck for a little bit. So we had to do our district easter egg hunt in the gym because everything was so cold.

Also, we found out this week that on the 29th, Elder Soares is coming to our mission! I am so excited to be able to meet him and talk with him! It'll be a really cool treat to have an apostle of God speak to us in person.

Other than that, nothing super new is happening up here. Literally just the insaaaaaaane weather and trying to find new people to teach. Today is back up to 55 degrees so things should be looking up!

But I love that no matter how crazy things in our life may be, the Lord will always be with us, even if we don't feel like He's there. He never leaves us to fight our battles on our own.

Que tengan una buena semana!

Missionary Life: Chaos Edition

 Holaaaaaa!

Okay I am so very sorry for not writing an email last week but holy hannah my life has been super crazy these past two weeks. So if this email seems like

a bit of a jumbled mess of English that doesn't make any sense, just look at the pictures and all will be well.

First off, we had General Conference, how cool is that?! I honestly love being able to hear from the prophet and all the apostles, it makes me very happy to learn what the Lord would have us do. And how about that focus on missionary work, pretty sweet! I love that we don't need to be serving full time missions to be able to help bring Heavenly Father's children back to Him. We can love, share, and invite no matter where we are! Also, I ate so much good food during the conference weekend. We hung out with the YSA and they treated us real good with waffles and pizza.

Also, it was my 21st birthday last monday! So I guess I really am getting old, jaja. Just kidding! It's strange that this is my second birthday out here in the mission field and I'm starting to repeat days that just doesn't feel right at all but time continues to move forward.

Also in exciting news, our mission achieved our monthly goal for baptisms with the Lord's help this past march! We set a new personal best and 44 of Heavenly Father's children entered the waters of baptism during the month of march. It was so incredibly amazing to watch the Lord perform incredible miracles! VIZUN ACHIEVED!

This week my companion is starting her last transfer and so now I am the designated driver. We've driven back and forth to the Tri-Cities twice this past week and we're still alive so all is well.

Other than that, it is spring time here and I absolutely love all the flowers!!!!! We're also starting to see all sorts of fun animals out and about.

For the miracle of the week, we are teaching the wonderful Gachet family from Ecuador and they are sooooooo cool. I love them so much. But Ximena's brother Patricio just moved here from Spain and he was actively searching for the church when he was overseas but due to covid restrictions, he couldn't do a whole lot more than look. But now he's here and within days of being here, we walk in teaching about the restoration! He's sooooooo cool and is exactly the push that Ximena y Roberto need to understand the importance of the restored church of Jesus Christ.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of crazy stories that also happened this week but my memory has gotten worse in my old age, jaja. But enjoy the surplus of pictures!
Con todo mi amor,

It's the Final Countdown
